The Speaker of the Free State Legislature, Hon. Mxolisi Dukwana, expresses his deep sadness at the passing of Advocate Modibedi Eric Phindela, Secretary to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
The Speaker of the Free State Legislature, Hon. Mxolisi Dukwana, expresses his deep sadness at the passing of Advocate Modibedi Eric Phindela, Secretary to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
Advocate Phindela served the NCOP with distinction. His expertise in parliamentary procedure and leadership in legislative administration strengthened the work of the Council. As Chairperson of the Secretaries’ Association of the Legislatures of South Africa, he helped foster closer cooperation between Parliament and the provincial legislatures.
On behalf of the Free State Legislature, the Speaker and Presiding Officers extend their heartfelt condolences to the Phindela family, his friends, colleagues and the broader legislative community.
May his soul rest in peace.
