The Portfolio Committee on Public Accounts and Finance met with the Auditor-General of South Africa to review PFMA audit outcomes and receive updates on the status of the Provincial Government.

On 24 March 2026, the Portfolio Committee on Public Accounts and Finance, led by Hon. Oupa Khoabane, convened a meeting at the Interim Chamber, Southern Life Building in Bloemfontein.
The Committee engaged with the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) to deliberate on audit outcomes in terms of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) for the financial year ending 31 March 2025.
The meeting focused on reviewing audit outcomes, assessing financial management practices, and strengthening accountability across provincial departments.
The Committee also received updates on the status of the Provincial Government. Presentations were made by the Provincial Treasury and the Public Service Commission, providing insight into financial performance, governance, and oversight matters.
